Bridal

With many of my pieces inspired by nature and delicacy it seemed natural that I would create some bridal pieces. Embroidered and printed butterflies, flowers and leaves are perfect pieces for contemporary brides and bridal parties.

I have been exploring more methods of hand embroidery - namely the couture method of Tambour Beading - which lends itself to creating bridal belts. I have also developed some pieces from my existing bridal collection to fit within it.

Feathers

Patterns of feathers was something I began to explore at University. This collection looks at some basic feather motifs while exploring the use of colour and layers in a relaxed boho style. All feathers are machine embroidered with some being layered together to create the final product.

Garden

This collection is based on things found in my garden. I've always loved the vibrant colours of hydrangeas and had to bring this through into my work. The butterflies are stencil printed onto Silk Habotai and Organza while the flowers are dyed before being stiffened and sewn together.

Perception of Colour

Developed from my Final Major Project of the same name this collection explores how people perceive and interpret colour. All silk vines are hand dyed 5 different colours before being sewn together and attaching leaves.

Please note that not all pieces are shown online, if there is a piece you'd like to inquire about that is pictured here but not on my online shop feel free to contact me and I can send you the relevant information.
